Effective January 5, 2010, a new MOIP Protocol has been initiated by IHQ and must be followed accordingly by all Provinces/Chapters participating in MOIP:  please find attached the 2010 Spring MOIP timeline. Following the interview and acceptance procedures, already in place where there were 2 administrative meetings, there will now be 4 administrative meetings which will total no more than 14 hours of meeting.

 

·        Administrative Meeting #1 (2 hours max):

o       Complete all MOIP Candidate Paperwork;

o       Receive Monies from Candidates

o       Issue materials to candidates (MOIP Manuals)

 

·        Administrative Meetings #2 (2 hours Max):

o       Review MOIP Text materials/Q & A

o       Make Arrangements/information for Cluster

o       Make and review plans for Saturday 8 hour session

 

·        Administrative Meeting # 3 (Orientation) (2 hours max):

o       Made and review plans for Retreat 8 hour session. 8 hours session will include chapter wide community service.

o       Study/Review Session for testing

 

·        Retreat Day ( 8 hours max—agenda provided):

o      Oversight Alumni Chapter(s) and all undergrads chapters responsible (particularly those going through MOIP) must participate in this 8 hour session. If other Alumni Chapters are within the area and all chapters would like one large retreat that’s fine (IE…Memphis alumni, and its oversight chapters, Germantown Alumni and its oversight chapter etc..).

o       5-7 hours of Kappa Training (education, exam prep etc…); 1-3 hours of community service

§         Agenda will be provided and must be adhered to,

§         Community Service Project must be completed

§         Only Brothers in good financial standing with local chapter may attend.

§         Meals will be provided to candidates
